24 MOONS

Hi all,

Well one door closes and another opens! I'm revamping my blog spot , dusting off the cobwebs, clearing the decks and entering into a spring clean of the page!

Where do I begin? Well ....Life here is good! Thats a start !

I'm still renovating my old cottage up here in Queensland....my garden of weeds is growing well, and I've gone from one old dog to two. Bob is still going tho he is winding down slowly like an old watch. He's 11 years old now, and still enjoys a wander around the neighborhood, checking on all the neighbors, and eating quite a few meals on wheels dinners given to him by the local oldies!

Recently, Bob and I added a new member to the crew....Bruiser ....Bruiser "the Hulk" a 2 year old Labrador, full of energy, love and no brains what so ever ! Lol...God he's a crazy dog! But you would be too if you had been locked up for 2 years in a small yard with very little care. Bob and I heard about him through the grape vine..and I went on a rescue mission...hey presto...1 dog rescued and living in the lap of luxury on my kitchen floor as we speak!

50 Kilo's of brawn, 1 gram of brain, and a smile as wide as the sky! That's Bruiser....loves everyone and he thinks everyone loves him !! (I do at least!)

We are just getting over Christmas here...another one bites the dust! A quiet one for me. I went South, to see the folks for 3 weeks, and caught up with some great friends also. Quiet but pleasant. Mum and Dad are amazing for their age. Both in their 80s and still as active as 60 year olds, although I did notice they were slowing , just like that old watch, which happens to all of us, eventually.

What I'm so glad about tho, is this time I got to take some wonderful pictures of them...something I know I and my siblings will cherish. I'm going to blow the pictures up and have them framed for the family. Really pleased with the shots.
